Notes and Comments on the Nong Palai area
We use the name Nongpalai and Nong Pla Lai as much as possible on our website but the area can be spelt Nong Plalai and Nongplalai.
Nong Palai is an area either side of Highway 36 and offers good access to the international schools and industrial zones.
Nong Palai is generally within a 25-minute drive from central Pattaya.
There are numerous local Thai restaurants and large food markets in the area.
For international restaurants you have an easy drive to Mabprachan Lake or into Pattaya city.
There is a good selection of Local and Bi-Lingual schools in the area with the main international schools in East Pattaya being Tara Pattana International School and Regents International School.
Convenience stores such as 7/11Family MartLotus Express and Mini BigC are now in the area and these stores usually have ATM facilities.
