These notes and comments have been written to assist you in understanding the areas of Pattaya and to help you make the correct decision about the location of your proposed next home in Pattaya.

Naklua is to the north of Pattaya and starts at the Dolphin Roundabout and runs east and west of Naklua Road, and for our website as far as Sukhumvit Soi 16.
The west side of Naklua Road is regarded as Wong Amat (Womgamat) and has some of the best beaches in Pattaya.
Naklua / Wong Amat comprise single houses, pool villas, low-rise condominiums and high rise condominiums.
Naklua is also popular because it offers good access to the international schools and industrial zones.
There is a good selection of Local and Bi-Lingual schools in the area with the main international schools in East Pattaya being Tara Pattana International School, Rugby School and Regents International School.
There are numerous local Thai and German restaurants on Naklua Road.
Momm Aroi on Naklua Soi 4 is perhaps the most popular restaurant in Naklua, serving fresh seafood right on the ocean. Other notable eateries are Rim Talay Seafood Restaurant on Naklua Soi 18, La Ferme and La Baguette are both part of Woodlands Hotel & Resort. Café Bars serving food such as Bon Café and Coffee Club are situated on Naklua Road. Perhaps the most popular German restaurant on Naklua Road is BrauStube. The higher class hotels such as Dusit Thaini Pattaya HotelCentara Grand Mirage and Pullman have international restaurants. The new Cape Dara on Naklua Soi 20 has a good Chinese restaurant.
International restaurants and Fast Food is available at Terminal 21 Shopping Mall which is close by.
Take-away DELIVERY food is available from many Pattaya restaurants through web-based food delivery services.
If golf is your game you will find Laemchabang and Burapha golf courses easily accessible.
Convenience stores such as 7/11Family MartLotus Express are now the area. For larger food shopping Best Supermarket is only a short drive away. There is a large Market in central Naklua and a daily Fish Market.
